之前有提到過, 攝影是一種"排除法"的藝術. 越厲害的攝影師, 越能在他的作品中把不需要的元素排除掉而讓一張應該是平凡無奇的照片便成充滿感情與熱情的藝術品. 開始使用單眼相機也快要滿四年了, 我一直在努力的追求拍攝人物的技巧. 如果把感情加到一張時間的間隔裡面. 好的角度, 好的景深, 好的瞬間, 好的光影, 好的顏色, 好的風格, 好的表情, 全部都是一個成熟的攝影師能夠在快門按下去的那短短一瞬間所計算出來的. 距離成熟還有很長一段路, 但是很感謝周圍的朋友與觀眾能一直的鼓勵我繼續走下去.

卡農是我最喜歡的古典樂曲, 喜歡到他是我唯一有努力去練鋼琴來彈的一首曲子(我沒學過鋼琴). 會這麼喜歡她的原因是因為每次聽到這個旋律就會讓我有一種戀愛中的幸福感覺, 甜甜蜜蜜溫溫暖暖又有點雞皮疙瘩的舒服感.

昨天我參加了一個認識了十年的老朋友的婚禮. 經過了差不多七年的愛情長跑, 我這位好朋友終於嫁給了她生命中的第一個男朋友(我相信也會是唯一的一個). 雖然整場婚裡我沒有聽到這個我最熟悉的旋律, 但是整場婚禮給我的感覺依然是一樣的幸福, 甜蜜, 溫暖.

我衷心的祝福他們可以幸福, 美滿, 快樂 :)

A few days ago I had a chance to hang out with an old buddy of mine from junior high. We got into talking about our career life and how we see ourselves in a few years. He is very interested in starting up his own company, and since he is a software engineer he has already got the skill to create something. Then he asked me what would I want to do? If I become more skillful in photography field in a few years, will I be willing to become a full time photographer?

This question got me thinking. If I really become skillful enough, will I quit my job with a stable paycheck and become a full time photographer and get paid case by case?

Consider photography is something I like to do it wouldn't be a bad thing to have a full time career on it. However, the idea of not getting a regular paycheck kind of holds me back also. I guess there really is a great difference between being your own boss and working for other people. There are too many things to worry about if I want to ever have my own business. The good thing is There is still a long way till my photography skill will reach a full time worthy career, so I still have plenty of time to decide.

 Sandy is a good friend of mine here in Davis. Last time we got in talking about her past photo shoot experiences in Taiwan, and I thought it would be great if she can model for me to practice some shooting. Sandy was very nice to agree to help me out and we spent a whole afternoon in various places of Davis to capture some shots. In this set I had more chance to practice shots with more background ratio to model. Since its important to have great background during engagement & wedding photo sessions. During the editing, I added some split toning to the photos to fill the photos with more warmth. It was a successful shooting session.
