I enjoy all sort of photography art work. I often visit the nature and enjoy the beauty of this world created by God. I also admire the photographers that may use a photo to capture the smell and taste of a delicious dish. However, I only focus in photography of human being.
My goal is to become a great wedding photographer that has the ability to capture the precious moments in the biggest day of most people - their wedding day.
Happiness is a difficult object to capture. It is a feeling everyone wishes to have and keep. However, often happiness only stays in memories. Therefore, the great responsibility of a wedding photographer is to be able to capture the happiness from that day to keep the moments not just in memory, but also able to see.
Few days ago a Facebook message popup and distracted me from watching one of my newest favorite TV show - New Girls. Natalie asked me if I'm interested in doing a fashion style photo shoot for her co-worker, Sharne. As a fashion photography hobbyist as I am, i agreed immediately and went on to discuss with her in more detail. The cool thing about this session is Sharne has her own stylist, which I really looked forward to seeing (I never had a photo shoot with a stylist for the model). We decided to shoot at a famous bridge of Davis - Stevenson Bridge. It's covered with graffiti, and if you know Davis, there is not that many places you may find graffiti in Davis.
The first few pieces were shot at random fields between Davis and the Stevenson Bridge. I just felt like shooting some bright sunlight shots before we got to the graffiti theme. Turned out some of them were very good. When we got to the bridge, I found the bridge pier part has some very nice spot to shoot at. Therefore, while waiting for the sunshine to be more horizontal, we took a few shots underneath the bridge. Sharne is a very good model. Even though she was a bit shy to start with, but very soon she got into the mood of shooting and started posing without hesitation. As a photographer, it is a very good thing to have a model that's willing to pose without giving instructions by instructions. Sharne defiantly did a great job there.
After the shooting at the bridge, we stopped at a Thai restaurant for supper. During the meal, I got to know that Sharne wants to become a TV/ Movie actress in the future, and that's the reason why she needs a portfolio in her resume. I am not familiar with the style of resume portfolio, but I hope my works will be some what beneficial to her future career. Best wishes to Sharne to become a successful actress in the future!
